More than 80% of foot problems, bunions &
injuries are a result of badly fitting & inflexible
shoes... Investing in flexible, well-designed shoes
like froggie barefoot science is an investment in
the good health of your child’s feet.

RS-Scan tests show that children wearing rigid,
inflexible shoes display poor centre of pressure
measurements, which can lead to bad foot
alignment. This has a negative effect on bone
& muscle development.

Most of the future bone structure in a child’s foot
begins as cartilage (firm elastic tissue) that is
gradually replaced by bone. (Clear spaces between
bones on x-rays indicate cartilage and soft tissue).
Cartilage in a child is easliy deformed by sustained
external pressure. That is why it is vital that a child’s
shoe allows enough room for natural growth and
direction until the foot bones mature. This happens
at age 18-19 for girls and age 20-21 for boys.

Rigid, inflexible, poorly shaped shoes are
potentially harmful, restricting natural movement
and development of the foot!
