Meet the latest in our comfort range: The NEW Block Heel Court Shoe

The popularity of formal attire took a downward turn over the last decade with the advent of the comfort geared lifestyle. Suddenly ‘Athleisure’ was the new buzz word and folks started trading in the dependable pants-suit/heels combo for a comfy tracksuit and trainers.

On the shoe front, Court Shoes in particular lost traction. Then the pandemic struck and turned the world on its head. The remote working environment emerged and further cemented the need for comfortable attire. Froggie has always been comfort centric and developed a fantastic footwear range to cater for our athleisure enthusiasts.

I ask you, however, now that we’ve achieved our new normal, aren’t we ready to dress up a bit? Opting for formal styling does not mean you have to compromise your level of comfort. On the contrary, Sarah became a little obsessed with improving our shoe ergonomics and increasing customer foot satisfaction!

When it comes to comfort, there are no half-measures. The memory foam we use maintains its elasticity giving your feet cushioned support throughout the day. The sole made from TR (thermo plastic rubber) moves and flexes with every step you take.

As the heel requires a stiffener to maintain shape, extra care has been taken to ensure the inner is non-abrasive. A soft microfibre has been used for the lining and the back is seamless to minimise rubbing and the resulting blisters. A thin layer of foam has also been added in between the lining so that the shoe hugs your heel and holds beautifully onto the foot.
